Marky Mark freaked by gay love scenes
A man best known for posing in his underpants has said that he is glad he was not chosen as one of the leads in Brokeback Mountain.
So are we Wahlberg!
Mark, 35, was first famous for his genius as a rapper and went on to have a very successful career as a movie actor. He was particularly convincing in Planet of the Apes.
Anyway, he has revealed that he was considered for a role in Brokeback Mountain, but the idea of man-sex freaked him out too much.
"I met with (BM director) Ang Lee on that movie, I read 15 pages of the script and got a little creeped out. It was very graphic, descriptive - the spitting on the hand, getting ready to do the thing," he told contactmusic.com
"I told Ang Lee, 'I like you, you're a talented guy, if you want to talk about it more...' Thankfully, he didn't."
You are thankful? What about us?
Wahlberg also said he has not actually seen the film because "it's just not my deal."

FYI, Mark Wahlberg bashed gays and Asians (American definition) in his hometown of Boston before he gained "fame" as Marky Mark. He's really not one of the most open minds in show business, which is a big reason why I've always found him teh fug. (Another is that I don't get worked up over big, dumb, stupid, muscle dudes.)
