"According to Suzy Menkes’ column in the International Herald Tribune, Madonna is contemplating putting together a 25-year retrospective of both her personal and performance wardrobe.
Apparently, Madge has spent two years working on the idea for the retrospective, which she envisions to also include video and photographs by famed photogs like the late Herb Ritts, Steven Meisel and Mario Testino.
No word yet on a date or venue for the retrospective, but one thing is for sure – if and when it happens it will be the gayest happening on the planet… bar none. "
Er we think it might be the second gayest thing ever, after the Kylie exhibition.
Spent two years on it? Really??????
Well it is not like she spent the time pefecting a convincing English accent, or indeed "designing" some pleb clothes for H&M.
Madonna proving once again that she has never actually had an original idea in her life.
Vogue? Nicked it. Posh English lady? Hardly original - or well executed. Everything else? Bollocks. Kaballah? Oh, is that the sound of a bandwagon I hear? RUN, MADONNA, RUN! You might miss it!
Awww is this a bitter Kylie fan writing this ridiculous blog? It's always so AMUSING to see deluded members from AL-KYLIEDA believing that Dannii's spasticated dwarf sister ever does anything which would be copied by from anybody, especially the likes of Madonna. Kylie's entire career is a Madonna tribute act.

Why is it that if anybody dares to speak the truth about Madonna then they must be a deluded Kylie Fan?. The clue is in the story here dimwit. As Kylie already has an exhibition of her clothing etc. then surely if Madonna does the same thing then it is blatantly copying, your ranting in defence of Madonna has no substance to it. If you are going to defend her then at least give a good reason. By the way i am not a member of AL-Kylieda (very funny by the way must have taken you seconds to think that one up).

I love Madonna, I like Kylie, but the truth is she is following in Madonna's footsteps like Britney. But the smae can be said about Madonna on certain things they all are inspired by the past and others...NOTHING wrong with that at all. Madonna and Kylie really like and respect each other. No need to bash either one of them. Madonna is the more sucessful of the two and no one can deny that can they? I can't think of a single song from Kylie that will in all truth be considered a classic or remembered in the future. The same thing can not be said of Madonna,,,love or hate to love her she is the "Queen" of the music world not because she is the best singer but because she is the best package. Who ever wrote this crap above cleary does not have a clue about what they are actually talking about anyways. Madonna is a trendsetter, she has always been one and all the actual facts prove this, so who cares what some fools point of view is. At the end of the day the facts don't support it anyways.

Dave, no one would be offended if they were speaking the truth about Madonna. There have been many exhibition's by Madonna over the years so NO Kylie is NOT the first. Your right part of the truth is in the article, Madonna wants to do one spanning her entire career, but its not her first exhibition. And I am sure someone before Madonna was even born has done an exhibition of there stuff who cares.
Madonna is an Icon hands down Kylie is not, her appeal is in a few countries she has limited impact in the USA, Madonna impacts over 100 countries something only a handful of artists can claim. There are many good reasons to defend Madonna on this, of the two she is the only true Icon and is a living legend, Madonna holds just about every record one can hold.

Kylie's cute and fun, but there is zero she's done that Madonna didn't do first. I'm sure she'd admit that. They seem to like each other, but some fans just can't subtract 38 from 48 to figure out who did what first.

Kylie actually had that clothes show of hers in Australia a couple of years ago - maybe Madge nicked the idea then? Surely its about time someone pinched an idea from Kylie anyway. The singing budgie is hardly original.
