Amora - the sex theme park claims to be the world's first visitor attraction dedicated to love, sex and relationships.
Buried
deep under the London Trocadero, the £7m "Academy" uses interactive
displays, exhibitions and technology to teach clueless Brits about sex.
After spending three years in development Amora will no doubt be the talk of the town.
Ever your humble servant, PinkNews.co.uk reluctantly went along to check it out.
There were male and female models with light-up erogenous zones, a
film of unattractive people having orgasms, and tips on how to undress
sexily and give a good massage.
Some bits were educational (finding out what a meatus is for example... the slit in your penis for you poor ignoramuses.) And there was lots of stuff on STDs.
To be honest, the "sexy" videos were tame compared to what is broadcast on Channel 5, never mind the amount of images gay men are exposed to on a regular basis. They had things like dildos - behind glass cases.
The wall of plaster-cast erections was reasonably amusing but then again hardly an eye-opener for your sophisticated gay.
If
you need a helping hand, trained sex therapists wander round the halls
giving advice to those who look lost and inexperienced.
Perhaps
because they've started mistakenly humping one of the exhibits.
Amora is for over 18s only, and tickets cost an hefty £15. To book call 0871 2309876 or visit www.amoralondon.com.

A meatus is just an opening or canal, the hole in the end of a knob is a "Penile/ Urinary/Urethral Meatus". Your ear-hole is also a meatus (external auditory meatus) and so are your nostrils (nasal meatus).
Who's an ignoramus now then?

I've been to the exhibition and can honestly say it's not worth while. It's bland in comparison to terrestrial TV, there was no therapist wandering round, just 2 ticket leaflet staff looking really bored and we were thankfully out of there in no time. Bad value - must try harder!

why i love when people (by which i mean dickheads) like you try to prove how smart they are
i bet ur meatus is fukin tiny

If they spend £7m on this place someone has TOTALLY lost the plot! It is basic, boring, tacky and not at all sexy. The exhibits are dirty and the place smelt of bleach… couldn’t wait to leave. What a waste of space!

It was boring, not much fun, we just walked around reading off of walls the handheld guides did'nt work. There was one piece of artwork that stood out but it did'nt tell you any information about the artist that created it. Some things needed explaining but there was no staff on hand to help. Even when we finished the tour and ended up in the bar there was no barman to serve us just a shifty looking security guard watching our every move. When the barman turned up ten minutes later we ordered two jd and cokes and where charged the ridiculous sum of £17 we refused to pay and left. Considering it cost £12 each to get in the bar prices were a joke. we strongly recommend that if you are looking for something fun to do in the west end, you should not waste your time or money on this so called 'attraction'.
