Robbie and Becks will not play gays

Sad news from Wisteria Lane. 

It seems that rumours of a gay couple comprising slim singing sensation Robbie Williams and brainbox footie legend David Beckham are destined to remain fantasy.

There had been whisperings that the pair, probably the most famous Englishmen in America at the moment (apart from Trousers Cowell) would be drafted into Desperate Housewives as a pair of homosexual lovers!

But Eva Langoria has gone on record to say that it is not going to happen!

"I talked to Victoria the other day. I told her about that rumour and she was laughing. David had a good laugh out of it. They (Beckham and Williams) are not coming on the show," she said.

However, Wisteria Lane will still be getting a gay couple - actors  Tuc Watkins and  Kevin Rahm are to play Bob and Lee, who leave the big ciy for the burbs.
