Another LiLo story, this time with added fur
The fur is flying between troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan
and a New York City-based student who slapped Lohan with a lawsuit for
allegedly stealing her grandmother’s fur coat from a Manhattan night
club.
Masha Markova, a Columbia University
student, is suing Lohan for damages over an $11,000 fur coat and family
heirloom that belonged to her grandmother, which she said disappeared
during a private party at 10ak nightclub in January where Lohan, 21,
was a guest, according to Reuters.
Markova became suspicious of Lohan when she saw Lohan wearing the coat in a photograph in OK! Magazine, Markova's lawyer, Merrill Cohen, said.
Markova
complained to the club regarding her missing coat and it was later
mysteriously returned reeking of “cigarettes and liquor.”
The
law suit, filed in New York State court, asserts that Lohan’s actions
were "intentional, oppressive and malicious and were carried out with
reckless disregard" for Markova's rights, Cohen said.
Representatives
for Lohan, who’s survived two stints in rehab, drunk-driving arrests
and a brief prison stay within the past year, were not available for
comment.

Her coat might of reeked of alcohol and smoke but this student seems to have smelled easy money and surefire lawsuit and jumped it.
I am with Lindsay on this one.
