He was the hottest skateboarder in town in Lords of Dogtown and wowed critics with his performance in Into The Wild, and now Emile Hirsch has demonstrated another talent - the convoluted story.
On the set of his new movie Speed Racer, the 23-year-old explained how the crew came to think he might be a gay:
"Me and (co-star) Kick Gurry were in the trailer hanging out.
"Kick was sitting back with his hands behind his head and I was doing push ups.
"It was hot so I peeled my driver's suit down a bit, and then Eric, the wonderfully gay production assistant, walked in. I jumped up really quick, but I was out of breath.
"Eric slammed the door shut. We went to Eric later and tried to explain. He was like, 'Shhhhh. I will never tell.'"
Oh dear - how embarrassing.
Anyway, Emile will be seen in the upcoming biopic of assassinated gay politician Harvey Milk, though we don't know if he will be doing any gay sex scenes.
He plays gay rights activist Cleve Jones.

In the upcoming film, "Milk", Emile does not have any Gay scenes nor those involving Gay sex, which I find to be a bit strange, considering who he plays, and the time period covered.

I wonder if the media would be bothering to print an old story told on a chat show if Mr. Hirsch were not in an upcoming gay-themed film? Seems for any male actor involved in such a project that this sort of speculation is inevitable.
Mr. Hirsch has no sex scenes in MILK. Word has it though, that he gives a wonderful performance.

MILK is about the life of Harvey Milk, as such it provides a fictionalized account of Mr. Milk's personal and public life, including his love life. It does not focus on the love lives of Mr. Milk's friends and supporters. Given that, there's nothing strange about Mr. Hirsch's lack of sex scenes.
